SentiLog for iOS (the "App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Information Collection
Privacy-First Design: All your data — journal entries, sentiment analysis results, and settings — are stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers.
2. On-Device AI Analysis
Fully Offline: Sentiment analysis is performed locally on your iPhone or iPad using on-device Core ML models running on the Apple Neural Engine. Your text is never sent to any cloud service for processing. No internet connection is required for emotion detection.
3. Data Encryption
Full Database Encryption: Your entire journal database is encrypted using AES-256 via iOS Data Protection, with hardware-backed keys managed by the Secure Enclave. The encryption key is generated locally and stored in the iOS Keychain. Even if someone accesses your device's storage, your journal data is unreadable without the key.
4. Cloud Backup
Encrypted Backups: If you choose to enable cloud backup, your data is encrypted on-device using AES-256-GCM before uploading to your personal iCloud Drive. The encryption key is managed automatically via iCloud Keychain — you don't need to remember a password. Only you can access your backups through your Apple ID. We never have access to your backup data.
5. Biometric Security
SentiLog supports Face ID and Touch ID to prevent unauthorized access to your journal. Biometric data is handled entirely by the iOS operating system and the Secure Enclave; the App only receives a success or failure result and never has access to your biometric information.
6. Third-Party Services
Apple App Store & StoreKit: If you purchase Premium, the transaction is handled by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect or store payment information.
iCloud Drive: Used only for optional cloud backup. We access only the App's own ubiquity container on your iCloud Drive — we cannot read any other files.
iCloud Keychain: Used to securely sync your backup encryption key across your Apple devices, enabling restore on a new iPhone or iPad without a password.
7. Data Retention
Your data lives on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. If you uninstall the App, all local data is deleted. Cloud backups remain on your iCloud Drive until you delete them.
8. Children's Privacy
SentiLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Apple's Required Reason API Declaration
The App accesses certain iOS APIs that require a declared reason under Apple's Privacy Manifest. These are declared in PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy and used solely for app functionality (storing user preferences, file metadata for the encrypted database). No information accessed via these APIs is shared with any third party.

5. 生体認証セキュリティ
SentiLogはFace IDおよびTouch IDをサポートしています。生体データはiOSオペレーティングシステムとSecure Enclaveによって完全に処理され、本アプリは成功または失敗の結果のみを受け取り、生体情報にアクセスすることはありません。
6. 第三者サービス

SentiLogは13歳未満の児童を対象としていません。児童のデータを故意に収集することはありません。

4. Cloud-Backup
Verschlüsselte Backups: Wenn Sie Cloud-Backup aktivieren, werden Ihre Daten auf dem Gerät mit AES-256-GCM verschlüsselt, bevor sie in Ihr persönliches iCloud Drive hochgeladen werden. Der Verschlüsselungsschlüssel wird automatisch über den iCloud-Schlüsselbund verwaltet. Nur Sie können über Ihre Apple-ID auf Ihre Backups zugreifen.
5. Biometrische Sicherheit
SentiLog unterstützt Face ID und Touch ID. Biometrische Daten werden ausschließlich vom iOS-Betriebssystem und der Secure Enclave verarbeitet; die App erhält nur ein Erfolgs- oder Fehlerresultat und hat zu keinem Zeitpunkt Zugriff auf Ihre biometrischen Daten.
6. Drittanbieterdienste
Apple App Store & StoreKit: Premium-Käufe werden über StoreKit von Apple abgewickelt. Wir erheben oder speichern keine Zahlungsinformationen.
